PSTS wins the 'Stevedore of the Year' Award for the third consecutive year.
At the 8th South East CEO Conclave & Awards 2016, held on 24th June, 2016 which was organized by EXIM India, the award was presented by Mr. N. Muruganandam (IAS), Managing Director, Indian Ports Association to Mr.T. Udayasankar, Group Chairman & Managing Director of PSTS Logistics.
Despite negative market sentiments, PSTS handled diverse cargo viz., Bulk - Coal, Pet Coke, Raw Sugar, Fertilizer, Cement, Copper Concentrate, etc., and in Break-Bulk category company has special expertise in handling Steel Cargo, Granite, Glass, Windmill Blades, Project Cargo (oversized & heavylift), etc.
Mr. T. Uday Sankar,CMD, PSTS Logistics said: "It is very heartening to see that our efforts are being recognized year after year. PSTS has emerged as true powerhouse and I would like to thank our team for their unrelenting hard work. The event was graced by Mr. Cyril C. George, Chairman of Chennai Port Trust, Mr. M.A.Bhaskarachar, CMD of Kamarajar Port Ltd, Mr. P.K. Das, IRS, Chief Commissioner of Customs, Chennai and many industry stalwarts as Guests of Honour.
