We had mentioned that PSTS and MARS Logistics set a new record in vessel handling by clearing 50,465 MT cargo in 37 hrs 05 min. Now, they have beaten that and have set a new record of 54,032 MT cargo in 38 hrs. 19 min.

We had claimed that PSTS had handled 'one million tons of cargo in a quarter'. In this year 2010, between May-June, we have handled one million tons in all the four ports of Chennai, Tuticorin, Karaikal and Vizag. PSTS project Cargo handled were coal, coke, potash, granite, copper concentrate, rock phosphate and steel coil. As you know, this is entirely a team effort - kudos to each and every one of the employees who put in their heart and soul to achieve this feat!. We also thank our clients who reposed their confidence in us in our efforts to champion customer delight!
